Description
Program was designed to organize and encourage community-giving efforts of organizations, businesses, and the general public during the holiday season to support Arkansas military and survivor families in need. Program operates from mid-November to Christmas Eve, consisting of five program layers: Silver Star Gift Registration (need-based sign-up for families to get assistance) The Freedom Frosty - Community event included in the Bentonville Run Series Silver Star Storefront - Pinnacle Hills Promenade, Rogers AR Silver Star Giving Tree (Angel Tree for Military and Gold Star Family children) Military/Veteran "Day of Shopping" and "Day of Giving" highlighting participating retailer discounts, and vendor sampling
