At the completion of the program students are prepared and eligible for the Arkansas State Board of Cosmetology examination. Students should be able to: Demonstrate the ability to perform basic professional manipulative cosmetology skills. Have a working knowledge of the underlying theories and technical information to assure sound decisions and procedures are used. Understand employer-employee relationships and respect. Gain the skills necessary to deliver quality services to customers. Gain the tools necessary to gain employment as a Cosmetologist. Learn to recognize entrepreneurial possibilities within the industry.
