Addiction Counseling | Addiction Recovery Care

Addiction Counseling

Program provides counseling for clients facing opioid addiction. How counseling works: To aid in your success a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) identifies triggers and coping mechanisms Services provided range from education, individual, group, couples, family, and codependency counseling. We require a 24 HOUR notice prior to you scheduled appointment for CANCELLATION. If this requirement is NOT met, patient will be expected to pay for the appointment in FULL. As stated in treatment contract, counseling is required at the minimum of ONCE PER WEEK.

Family Caregiver Workshops | UAMS Centers on Aging

Family Caregiver Workshops

Program provides free four-hour workshops offered in the community designed to increase family members' knowledge of caregiving for older adults in the home. They offer an Alzheimer's/Dementia Workshop and a Physical Skills Workshop. Workshops can be scheduled at a location for groups of ten or more. This workshop is provided by the UAMS Schmieding Home Caregiver Training Program curriculum.
