They also offer phone and in-person counseling with licensed counselors for those requiring help coping, moving forward, taking those first steps or coming to terms with the undeserved crimes against them.They also offer survivors individual and group counseling services.

Community Housing is available to families who need assistance moving into permanent housing. This program enables individuals and families who have completed the in-house program to receive housing and supportive services for one to two years after leaving the shelter.

Provides support and advocacy services to individuals affected by domestic violence. Promotes awareness and understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence. Provides practical information, resources, and support for those affected by domestic violence. Provides outreach services including assistance in attaining orders of protection, accompaniment and transportation, prevention information and training, housing and shelter information, referral to behavior health, information leading to a safer environment, and information on legal aid. Provides education to the public about domestic violence, teen-dating violence, and elder abuse through early intervention and prevention focus.

Involved with the community through civic organizations, church groups, community groups, and the schools to educate and inform on the effects of domestic violence. We do this through speaking engagements, projects, and unique fundraisers in the community. Student education has also been a platform for LCSH. We believe that we can impact the domestic violence statistics by impacting the youth. We are continually in the schools giving messages on healthy and unhealthy relationships and broadening the students' minds of what domestic and dating violence actually are.

Education and community outreach presentations including the innovative P.R.I.D.E. Program are designed to educate, inform, prevent, and build awareness on the effects of domestic violence on the community.In addition to specialized prevention programming, WCF participates in information fairs, special events, and speaking engagements for schools, churches, civic clubs, businesses, and other organizations.

Adult Advocate: The adult advocate is a professional trained to operate the 24/7 crisis hotline and oversee shelter services providing support to victims of domestic violence. The adult advocate offers victims information, emotional support, safety planning, social services information, group, lay counseling, life skills classes, parenting classes, obtaining employment and housing, provides local transportation and makes appropriate referrals.Court Advocate: The court advocate works directly with the victim. She is available to the law enforcement 24/7 to make face-to-face calls with victims as needed to give immediate intervention. She works from the courthouse with victims assisting in filing Orders of Protections and Crime Victim Reparation Reports, court appearances, appointments with prosecutors and attorneys as needed. She provides social service resources and assists with safety planning.Child Advocate: The child advocate provides age appropriate advocacy, group classes and activities for sheltered and non-sheltered children of domestic violence victims and provides prevention classes addressing dating violence and bullying to age appropriate classes.
