Program (formerly known as Food Stamp Program) provides food assistance to eligible households to cover a portion of a household's food budget. Benefits are distributed through an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. SNAP benefits can be used to purchase eligible food items for home consumption including seeds and plants which produce food for consumption by SNAP households. Farmers markets are available for SNAP benefits as well as eligible retailers. Provides a program that advises claimants regarding Federal and State benefits and assists with preparation of forms and securing the necessary supporting evidence. Completed forms are forwarded to the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs for presentation of the claim to the appropriate board or official of the agency involved.

The individual lives in a private apartment with rent assistance. The resident must possess personal skills to enable self-sufficiency. Program provides some daily living and skills training.

Job Seeker Services: Provides information about job vacancies, worker availability and salary or wage rates in the area. Offers help with job seeking skills, such as resume writing and interview preparation and provides a statewide referral system linking job seekers to other agencies that can provide support services needed to become successfully employed. Services offered on three levels: 1) Self-service in the resource center: 2) Intensive services for those needing personal assistance: 3) Training for those who qualify.Employer Services: Offers employers access to a large source of job seekers in the area, with employee skills and abilities matched to appropriate job choices. Services include: Identifying skill requirements and developing job listings: recruitment and screening for job openings: labor market information: and training of new or incumbent employees.

Develops plans to evaluate and treat survivors of sexual assault or domestic abuse

ADEM trains volunteers to rapidly inspect structures after a catastrophic event (earthquake, tornado, high wind, fire, etc). These trainings are free and offer 6-8 PDH/HSW continuing education hours.

A Medicaid program that can help families with children younger than 19 years old who have a disability receive care in their homes rather than an institution.The TEFRA program can help pay for the cost of those services for eligible children. Some families will not have to pay anything as part of the program. Others pay a premium on a sliding scale, depending on their income.Note: Children who live in an institution or receive extended care in an institution are not eligible for TEFRA.

Program offers adult individuals the opportunity to live in the community and pursue work and social activities available to the general population. Active Treatment encompasses the social, emotional, cognitive, physical and communicative skills required for developing independent functional community living settings. The adult individuals served must be eligible for institutional treatment and must have a Developmental Disability as their primary diagnosis.

Accepts baby diapers, baby and maternity clothes, furniture, pregnancy tests and bibles. Monetary donations are always accepted.

Public defenders are requested and appointed by your Judge during arraignment based on financial need. One must call the Public Defender's office within two weeks after your arraignment to make an appointment with your attorney.
