Program provides new clothing, toys and food for children of needy families through the support of generous community members. Trees are decorated with Angel Tags which contain a child's first name, age, gender, and gift wishes. Contributors can remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child described on the tag and simply attach that tag to the bag of gifts and return it to the location where it was picked up. Agency will then complete the family's package by adding a Christmas meal donated by community partners.

Program has a goal to help consumers learn to make healthy food and lifestyle choices, so they can lose weight and prevent chronic, life-threatening illnesses. Program offers diet screening (assessing food currently consumed) and nutritional counseling, along with health screenings to check blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels to help determine risk of developing heart disease and diabetes.Program also helps those who are underweight or malnourished. The Closet represents a collection of resource initiatives that meet the needs of teens in NWA.Teens in need are also referred year-round by counselors and social workers for one-time needs of clothing hygiene items school supplies

Provides law enforcement and community protection

Program administered by the Department of Public Safety on behalf of the Crime Victims Reparations Board, provides financial compensation to victims who have suffered personal injury or death as the result of violent crime.Eligible victims may qualify for up to $10,000 for medical care, counseling, lost wages, funeral expenses, crime scene clean up and loss of support for dependents of deceased victims. Victims suffering catastrophic injuries may qualify for up to $25,000. Eligible victims may be awarded reparations regardless of whether there has been an arrest or conviction related to the crime.Additionally, the Sexual Assault Reimbursement Program allows evidence to be collected after a sexual assault has been committed without the victim bearing the burden of the expense, and it pays for ambulance services and medical or legal examinations.
