Personal care services referred by Superior Senior Care are primarily based on the assessed physical dependency need for "hands-on" services with daily living activities. These include: eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, toileting and ambulating. Hands-on assistance in at least one of these areas is required to qualify for Personal Care under Medicaid. This type of assistance is provided by a personal care aide based on a beneficiary's physical dependency needs (as opposed to purely housekeeping services). The tasks the aide performs are similar to those that a nurse's aide would normally perform if the beneficiary were in a hospital or nursing facility.

Services are based on an individual independent living plan and may include: counseling, audiological and medical evaluation, independent living skills training, adaptive equipment, basic sign language instruction to the individual or family members, interpreter services to support other planned services, information and referral and advocacy.

Individuals who are responsible for controlling and extinguishing fires and responding to emergency situations where life, property and -or the environment are at risk. They are frequently the first emergency personnel at the scene of a traffic accident or medical emergency and may be called upon to put out a fire, treat injuries or perform other vital functions. They also rescue victims and provide emergency medical attention as needed, ventilate smoke-filled areas and attempt to salvage the contents of buildings. Duties may include the fire prevention, emergency medical service, hazardous material response, search and rescue, and disaster management. They are also a safe haven for abandoned newborn babies.

Emergency baby and maternity items provided to those in need (baby closet is for children newborn to 3). All items are donated and are provided to clients completely free of charge. The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank's Mobile Pantry Program makes 17 stops throughout Northwest Arkansas once per month. Food is available to everyone in need. Premade boxes full of shelf stable products, frozen protein and fresh produce is distributed on a first come first served basis.
