Program assists consumers with significant disabilities to obtain and maintain employment at an integrated labor site. A job coach serves as teacher, mentor and fgacilitator by assisting the consumer with the job search, interviews, and training of job duties at the work site. The job coach helps the consumer look for jobs that interest them and match their abilities and skills to the job. The overall goal for the consumer is to foster growth towards maximum independence in the community and at their place of employment. Competitive employment will be procured in the community and within Pathfinder, Inc. Consumers will generall work a minimum of 15 to 25 hours a week.

On July 29th, 2023 Altrusa International of Washington County will be hosting a back to school event to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to children in Prairie Grove and Greenland, Arkansas.In addition to the school supplies, which are first come first serve, there will be a personal care bag, a snack bag, free books, and a box of shelf-stable food provided to the families.The event will be held from 9am-11am at Prairie Grove Elementary School, where free pastries are provided, and then from 11am-1pm at Greenland Middle School where a free sack lunch will be available.

Individuals who are responsible for controlling and extinguishing fires and responding to emergency situations where life, property and-or the environment are at risk. They are frequently the first emergency personnel at the scene of a traffic accident or medical emergency and may be called upon to put out a fire, treat injuries or perform other vital functions. They also rescue victims and provide emergency medical attention as needed, ventilate smoke-filled areas and attempt to salvage the contents of buildings. Duties may include fire prevention, emergency medical service, hazardous material response, search and rescue, and disaster management. They are also a safe haven for abandoned newborn babies.
